Andrew Kaplan, MD, FACC, FHRS is a board-certified cardiac electrophysiologist, physician executive, clinical researcher, and healthcare strategist with more than 30 years of experience in cardiovascular medicine and medical technology innovation.

Throughout his career, Dr. Kaplan has served as a principal investigator, clinical advisor, and strategic partner to cardiovascular device, digital health, and healthcare technology companies. He has helped organizations navigate clinical development, commercialization, physician adoption, and market strategy.

His areas of interest include artificial intelligence, remote patient monitoring, digital therapeutics, cardiovascular disease prevention, and technology-enabled approaches to chronic disease management.

As a Strategic Advisor to FriskaAi, Dr. Kaplan works closely with the company’s leadership team to advance AI-enabled clinical workflows, remote care solutions, and strategic partnerships with physician practices, health systems, employers, and military healthcare organizations. His combination of frontline clinical experience, research leadership, and business insight supports FriskaAi’s mission to improve patient outcomes, strengthen care continuity, and increase clinical and operational efficiency.

Dr. Kaplan earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He completed his residency at Duke University Medical Center and his fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at Emory University.
