His areas of interest include artificial intelligence, remote patient monitoring, digital therapeutics, cardiovascular disease prevention, and technology-enabled approaches to chronic disease management.

As a Strategic Advisor to FriskaAi, Dr. Kaplan works closely with the company’s leadership team to advance AI-enabled clinical workflows, remote care solutions, and strategic partnerships with physician practices, health systems, employers, and military healthcare organizations. Dr. Kaplan earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He completed his residency at Duke University Medical Center and his fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at Emory University.
